PaveDrain & Powerblock
Superior system for effective stormwater management.The PaveDrain System is a Permeable Articulating Concrete Block/Mat (P-ACB/M) that creates a performance pavement that integrates the patented arched reservoir to maximize onsite stormwater capacity during extreme storm events. This improves the typical storm hydrograph and increases environmental performance while reducing stormwater infrastructure costs. The PaveDrain can be installed either by individual units or pre-assembled in a variety of configurations customized for specific applications and installed very quickly with conventional construction equipment.
The PaveDrain System allows for a more natural (vertical) infiltration path, recharging local groundwater and reducing first flush pollutants. By reducing a typical storm hydrograph while also filtering out suspended sediments this combination of Best Management Practices (BMP’s) illustrate stellar life-cycle cost savings.

Pedestal Pavers

Permeable & Vehicular Pavers
Permeable interlocking concrete pavement (PICP) is comprised of a layer of concrete pavers separated by joints filled with small stones.Water enters joints between solid concrete pavers and flows through an “open-graded” base, i.e. crushed stone layers with no small or fine particles. The void spaces among the crushed stones store water and infiltrate it back into the soil subgrade. The stones in the joints provide 100% surface permeability and the base filters stormwater and reduces pollutants.
Driveways, parking lots, streets, ports and airports with interlocking concrete pavements enable easy access for base and subsurface utility maintenance. Repairs are simplified by removing the paving units, making the repair, and then replacing the same units without creating unsightly patches. The pavers maintain a visually and structurally consistent surface. Pavement surface life is not reduced because there are no damaging cuts into it.
